ACCURATE SEED PLACEMENT FOR FASTER EMERGENCE

CASE IH PLANTING AND SEEDING EQUIPMENT PROVIDES MORE OPTIONS FOR PLACING SEED EXACTLY WHERE YOU WANT IT.

Case IH planting and seeding equipment delivers the precise seed placement at the right populations necessary to maximize yield potential. During the narrow window for planting, Case IH machines provide reliable accuracy, helping you get the seed in the ground on time for fast emergence and quick stand establishment.

Early Riser Row Unit

The Case IH Early Riser® Row Unit optimizes seedbed conditions to allow earlier, more uniform emergence and higher yield potential. And it performs in a variety of conditions to match your farming practices, whether you use no-till, mulch-till or conventional tillage.

The six steps to better seedbed conditions:

  1. Narrow 10.5-degree offset double disk openers slice through residue and hard soils to create a narrow seed furrow with minimal sidewall compaction.
  2. Walking beam gauge wheels maintain uniform seeding depth and placement. A soil retention groove captures moist soil along the top of the seed trench where it will later be placed on top of the seed by the closing system.
  3. The furrow firming point defines the sides and bottom of the seed furrow , preventing loose soil from creating a false bottom for more accurate seed depth.
  4. A V-shaped seed tube centers the seed into the perfect position at the bottom of the furrow. The tube is made of a special polymer compound that reduces seed ricochet.
  5. Inverted closing discs fill the furrow from both sides , placing the loose, moist soil close to the seed.
  6. A wide press wheel gently firms soil over the furrow for optimal seed-to-soil contact and leaving a crust-breaking chevron pattern that speeds emergence.
