Case CE DL550

Features
A Pure Purpose-Built Dozer
Everything about the Minotaur™ DL550 demonstrates the dozer heart and soul in this machine.
The fully chassis-integrated C-frame with six-way blade is the same blade featured on the CASE 650M dozer. It delivers stability, smooth dozing performance and 25,826 lbs. of drawbar pull. The 96-in. blade offers the full range of motions for cutting, carrying and windrowing material. It also features blade shake for shedding sticky material and fine grading for added control when it matters most. There’s an industry-exclusive fully integrated rear ripper option. And it’s equipped with true dozer-style grips and dozer machine controls to allow an experienced dozer operator to jump in and feel right at home.
Precision Grading With Universal Machine Control
CASE Machine Control provides harnesses and brackets to integrate machine control solutions with precision construction solutions.
This allows equipment owners to add the machine to their fleet with the confidence that it can be upgraded with machine control at any time. The CASE Minotaur™ DL550 is built to work with 2D, 3D, and CASE Site Control CoPilot machine control solutions*.
*Machine control solution sold separately.
An Ever-Improving Operator Experience
Sitting still isn’t what we do. So, we’ve updated the CASE Minotaur DL550 to offer a better operator experience.
We added new functionality on the LCD display. It now includes an improved menu screen that offers easy, fingertip access to new features like advanced user codes and security, automatic engine idle and reverse/forward creep disable. The armrest adjustability has been improved for easier use. And the air ride seat can now be reclined, providing even greater operator comfort.
Remote Diagnostics And Collaborative Fleet Management
Fact – you always get much faster cycle times when your machine is up and running.
The SiteConnect Module from CASE allows for greater fleet management collaboration and remote diagnostics. This includes the SiteManager App (iOS and Android), which pairs your phone or device to the machine for remote analysis. This enables your local CASE dealer technician to make a determination as to whether an issue can be addressed remotely (such as clearing codes or updating software) or if it requires a trip to the machine. If a trip is needed, the technician is already equipped with helpful information to make sure the machine can be fixed right the first time. The SiteConnect Module also creates a powerful connection between the compact dozer loader, the dealer and the experts at the CASE Uptime Center, ensuring you avoid costly downtime.
The-Ultimate-Site-Loader-And-Attachment-Beast
Load the high trucks. Lift the heavy pallets. Throw on a mulching head and clear land like a beast.
The CASE Minotaur™ DL550 excels as a loader, as an attachment platform and as an all-around material handler. A vertical lifting path with a massive hinge pin height of 140.2 in. and rated operating capacity of 5,500 lbs. (50 percent tipping load) makes this a powerful site loader to count on every day. Adjustable electro-hydraulic controls allow operators to set the responsiveness to low, moderate or aggressive, or independently set tilt, lift and drive speed, as well as loader arm and drive control to best meet the job demands. And standard enhanced high-flow hydraulics equip you with the power to run almost any attachment. In fact, Minotaur™ DL550 is compatible with more than 55 attachment product families totaling more than 175 orderable options.
Pick Your Traction Action
Three track options provide the needed traction for different applications.
- 14 steel single 1.5 in. grouser will give operators the most tractive effort.
- 18 steel triple 7/8 in. grouser will let operators have better flotation, but still have increased tractive effort.
- 17.7 in. HD rubber track provides the most flotation and can be operated on concrete or asphalt.
New EZ Trac Option For Improved Ride Comfort
Here’s welcome news for your backside.
It’s EZ Trac. And this new suspension track is an option for those CASE Minotaur™ DL550 models with rubber tracks. It features an undercarriage that’s rigid mounted to the chassis, with rollers mounted on pivoting bogeys. The result is improved operator ride comfort along with increased tractive effort performance. Additionally, it’s maintenance free and improves rubber track life. That adds up to greater productivity, reduced ownership cost and a machine you’ll be comfortable hunkering down in for a while.
