Case IH Heavy-Offset 790
Features
Frame Design
Designed for Durability
The Case IH Heavy-Offset disk harrows are designed to handle even the toughest conditions.
-
Welded steel tubing for stability in the field and during transport
- Nodular iron spools resist compression up to 20 tons without loosening blades
- High-capacity bearings featuring Cushion Gang® flange bearings
- Self-leveling hitch keeps gangs working at uniform depth
Blades
Earth Metal® Blades for Exceptional Endurance
All Case IH Heavy-Offset 790 disk harrows are equipped with Earth Metal blades. Uniquely formed and heat treated, Earth Metal blades offer exceptional endurance and break resistance for longer equipment life. The notched blades aggressively cut residue and vegetation with excellent cut uniformity. Earth metal blades:
- Resharpen as they are used, improving performance over time
- Are 30% stronger and last up to 20% longer than conventional blades
- Resist stress fractures
- Feature shallow-concavity design for easier pulling and better fuel economy
Adjustments
Simple Setup and Adjustment
Adjusting the various settings on the Heavy-Offset 790 is easy, allowing you to respond to varying soil conditions and spend more time in the field. These adjustments range from easy gang related to mechanical depth control.
- Easy gang adjustments without tools from 34 – 46 degrees with an easy-turning crank that fine-tunes front-to-rear leveling
- Rear gangs adjust laterally to changing field conditions with the ability to line up with front gang furrows as desired with pin-type adjustment
- Mechanical depth control provides accurate, repeatable depth with pin-type adjustment. Makes depth control quick and reliable and eliminates risk of hydraulic leakage
- One-step lateral pin adjustment for tongue placement maintains draft compliance
- Transport lock U-channels and rear chain attaching points
