Kuhn GA 7932+
Features
Engineered for All Conditions
Masterdrive ® GIII Gearbox
The patented KUHN Masterdrive GIII double-reduction gearbox is designed for heavy crops, tough field conditions, and intensive use. Key components have been improved to build lighter, yet stronger rotors such as: aluminum alloy housings, optimized cam track minimizing force on the follower bearing, larger follower bearing diameter reducing rotation speed and pressure on the cam, tine arms with large-dimension bearings, sturdier pivoting tine support shaft, reinforced main shaft, and reinforced mounting of tine arms on tine holders. The Masterdrive GIII’s ability to move heavy wet crop and neatly handle dry hay gently is unrivaled in the industry.
Double-Curved Tine Arms
Double-curved tine arms are designed to form fluffy and straight windrows for superior raking quality at high speeds. Fluffy windrows allow more air movement through the crop promoting fast and uniform drying!
KUHN rotary rakes achieve this by following two basic principles for ideal windrow formation. First, the tine arms maintain a positive forward position right up to the point where the forage is delivered to the windrow. Second, a steep cam track allows the tines to be raised very quickly to provide additional clearance over the windrow.
Enhanced Reliability
All GA 1032+ models feature standard freewheel integration into the Masterdrive GIII gearbox, improved guidance and lubrication in the headstock to reduce bushing wear and extend service life, and a new link component between the rear rotor and chassis.
Easy Adjustments
Easy Adjustments to Meet Your Raking Needs
One or Two Windrows
In addition to the side delivery of one windrow, these rakes can be set to form two separate windrows. This is particularly useful in carrying out tasks to speed up the drying process such as turning windrows and forming narrow windrows in heavy crop conditions.
Hydraulic Windrow Width Adjustment
The KGA 01T control box enhances operator comfort with easy adjustments. In conjunction with a hydraulic cylinder, the operator to adjust windrow width right from the cab. This system also folds the curtain assembly for transport, simplifying road travel and eliminating cumbersome manual work.
Narrow for Transport and Storage
These rakes can be easily changed from work to transport position from the tractor cab. The width is reduced to 9’10” for GA 6632+, the GA 7932+ to 11’6”, and the 9032+ to 13’5”. In addition, these three models feature removable arms to further decrease transport width, for driving comfort and increased safety during long transport distances and navigating narrow field entrances. This compact configuration is also advantageous during off-season storage.
Adaptation & Clearance
Excellent Ground Adaptation & Clearance
3D Rotor Suspension
Standard 3D rear rotor suspension provides +/-10° articulation on both rotor pivots, enabling excellent adaptation to differences in terrain for superior raking quality. In transport or headland position, the 3D suspension locks for additional stability and clearance over previously formed windrows.
Tandem Axles
Tandem axles are standard on both rotors on all models. They run especially smooth on rough roads, but also over uneven fields. The rear rotors of all models are also equipped with two additional wheels. A dampener axle is an option on the front rotor of the GA 6632+ and 7932+ for additional support. An optional prop wheel can be fitted to the front rotor to provide smoother operation in very rough conditions.
Superb Windrow Clearance
The GA 6632+ features a clearance of 22” (50 cm) between the ground and the bottom of the tine when in headland position, while the GA 7932+ and 9032+ feature a clearance of 24” (60 cm), allowing you to cross newly formed windrows without disruption.
Parallelogram-Type Drawbar Hitch
The clevis-style drawbar features a parallelogram design, which permits a high lift height and secure attachment, as the front part of the drawbar always stays horizontal. The CV PTO shaft minimizes driveline chatter and wear during tight turns.
