Employee Experience Committee
Our team working to make this the best place we've ever worked
Purpose: To help make Wellington Implement the best place our employees ever worked, identifying and continuing to do what’s going well and improving where there is opportunity to do so is imperative. To make meaningful improvements, the suggestions on what to focus on need to come from our front-line team members rather than from the perspective of management. To gain this insight, the Employee Experience Committee was formed as an advisory board to the owner in 2022.
Committee members were nominated and voted on by their peers with the goal of having representation from every department in every location with only one member of middle management serving on this 9-person committee. Three committee members are replaced annually through a peer-voting process. The committee meets offsite three times per year with the guidance of an independent facilitator. Discussions are guided by survey results of the entire company and suggestions for improvement are presented to a very receptive senior management team. Between meetings EEC members may work on projects and are called upon for additional guidance for company leadership.
